Tim Kipchumba has conceded defeat after losing the Elgeyo Marakwet senatorial seat to Hon. William Kisang of the United Democratic Party.

Kipchumba was running for the seat as an independent candidate.

IN his nightly tweet, Kipchumba said he called the newly elected senator to congratulate him.

He promised to give the support to newly elected senator under president William Samoe Ruto.

Statement: “few minutes to midnight yesterday, I called Sen Hon Kisang & congratulated him.

I assured him of my support as my Senator & the Senator elect of Elgeyo Marakwet.

Kait Sait for us to support him & our Kenya Kwanza government under President H.E @WilliamsRuto”
