Following the defeat, Kenyans have criticised the Kenya Boxer Board for doing nothing to promote the Boxing sport. Others claims that they only new their would be a match when they heard Maboga speaks.
Reactions From Kenyans:
Mandonga, the Tanzanian boxer, has singularly hyped the boxing fight at KICC which he is a mere curtain-raiser. Sponsors & PR agents of the event should be ashamed enough & surrender their earnings to Mandonga. We only got to know of this event when Mandonga arrived & spoke.
