A girl from Kisii County is reported to have fell in love with a guy, whom they spent several months together.

Abuka Makori, a social media enthusiast details that at some point, the boyfriend who was pretending to be rich faked sickness, claiming he had undergo stomach operation and removal of tumor in South Africa.

The mother-in-law in waiting, Makori claims, gave him Ksh 2.97M. All this time he was just okay in Kenya but transacting business on WhatsApp.

The mother-in-law in waiting reportedly borrowed Kshs2.1M and the rest from her savings so that to save the “future” husband of her daughter.

The guy assured them he will pay once he’s in the country from RSA.

“Importantly, the boy “landed” in Kenya and asked the girl to start preparing for a wedding so that they tie the knot and leave the country for New York (imaginary).” Makori says.

Makori further details that the man even had guts to visit them while in headgear to confirm he was recuperating.

It has been gathered that the the boy has since locked his phone, they can’t access him.

When they traced his roots at Simbauti (Nyamira), their to be “in-laws” were surprised to hear about his sickness, said the guys was healthy.

“Just like that, the boy made a cool Kshs 2.97M.” He says.
