Police on Thursday confiscated 57 crates of illegal alcohol smuggled from Nakuru to Nyahururu.
Nyahururu County Deputy Commissioner (DCC) said the car was intercepted by police during a routine inspection and the police arrested the suspect with drinks and took them into custody.
The DCC said it was working closely with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and the Kenya Standards Authority (KEBS) to identify illegal products.
DCC encouraged local residents to report any suspicion of illegal activity to the authorities.
